Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent obtained for alterations and extensions to listed building

2 July 2025

MEP is delighted to have obtained planning permission and LBC for significant alterations and extensions to a listed building in a prominent location in the Cotswold village of Blockley. The subject property is a Grade II listed dwelling and is located in Blockley Conservation Area, surrounded by a number of listed buildings.

MEP played a vital role in finding a solution to meet the requirements of the client whilst respecting the heritage interests of the site. The team worked closely with architects, Bindloss Dawes Architects, and the Local Planning Authority, to formulate a proposed scheme which preserved and enhanced the character and appearance of the listed building and the Conservation Area.
