The MEP team is delighted to have submitted a full planning application to Wiltshire Council for the next phase of development at Kingsway Nursery, Corston – a significant milestone in the growth of Corston Architectural Details.

The scheme will deliver almost ๐Ÿ”,๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐ฌ๐ช๐ฆ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ก๐ข๐ ๐ก-๐ช๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ž๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฒ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ž, including ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐š๐œ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ, ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐ฎ๐Ÿ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ๐ฌ, ๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐š๐ง๐ ๐š ๐ง๐ž๐ฐ ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ ๐ก๐ฎ๐› – all designed to support the companyโ€™s continued expansion and growing international demand.

The development is expected to create ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽโ€“๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ ๐ฌ๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ฃ๐จ๐›๐ฌ, building on the success of Phase 1 and helping to retain young talent in the area. It will also support the companyโ€™s ambition to bring production back to the UK, strengthening the local economy and reducing reliance on overseas supply chains.

The buildings are designed to the highest sustainability standards, using ๐š๐ข๐ซ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐œ๐ž ๐ก๐ž๐š๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฌ, ๐ž๐ฑ๐ญ๐ž๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ ๐ฉ๐š๐ง๐ž๐ฅ๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐œ ๐ฏ๐ž๐ก๐ข๐œ๐ฅ๐ž ๐ข๐ง๐Ÿ๐ซ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž to minimise environmental impact and future-proof operations.

This is a great example of how redundant rural sites can be reimagined as thriving employment hubs, delivering long-term economic, environmental and social value. ๐ˆ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ฅ๐ฒ, ๐ข๐ญ ๐ž๐ง๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐š ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐œ๐œ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ-๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฅ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐›๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ž๐ฑ๐ฉ๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐š๐ข๐ง ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐š, retaining investment and employment within Wiltshire.

At a time when Wiltshire has seen major employers move operations overseas, supporting established, thriving local businesses has never been more critical. This application offers real potential to create new opportunities for those affected by recent redundancies and to strengthen the regionโ€™s long-term economic resilience.

The MEP team led a team of specialists consultants and were responsible for the preparation and submission of the application. The team will now monitor the application and liaise with the LPA throughout the decision making process.
