Welcome to MEPs Graduate Programme.

MEP is committed to our Graduate Programme as we aim to encourage talented graduates to develop their skills and reach their full potential.  The MEP Graduate Programme offers you, the graduate, to become an RTPI qualified planning consultant and helps us realise our objective in ensuring that we provide our clients with the best possible staff and deliver an excellent service.

Becoming a chartered member of the RTPI means you’re fully qualified and can officially call yourself a ‘Chartered Town Planner’, with the professional letters ‘MRTPI’ after your name.

The Graduate Programme

Commencing in September of each year, the Programme will run for up to 2 years.  During that time you’ll receive the following;

  • Support ‘on the job’ to develop a strong basis of professional knowledge and expertise.
  • Support to gain and further your professional qualifications and accreditations.
  • Regular and frequent mentor sessions where we can discuss and monitor your progress ensuring that you are obtaining access to a full grounding in all services provided by the MEP team.
  • Access to business skills training to bridge the gap between leaving university and entering the world of work.
  • Paid leave to attend approved training courses.
  • An identified buddy within the office.
