Following the submission, the Council initially raised heritage concerns over the impact of the scheme however the MEP team worked closely with the planning officer at Cotswold District Council to produce a revised scheme.
Upon the resubmission of the amended scheme, the Council’s Heritage Consultant maintained their objection; however, owing to the robustness of the resubmission, the Case Officer at the Council overturned this objection and recommended approval.
A special thanks to Blake Architects Limited, heritage consultants from Pegasus Group, ecologist Matt Pickard, transport consultants at Rappor, and drainage consultants at EnvirEn Ltd for their support in delivering the success.
If you have an ambition to construct a self-build dwelling and would like advice on what’s possible, MEP would be delighted to assist.
