The proposal incorporates a state-of-the-art facility for Safran is at the heart of ambitious expansion plans for Ashville Business Park, Staverton. A hybrid planning application has now been submitted, setting out a major transformation of the site to support employment growth, enhanced community facilities, and the creation of up to 1,000 jobs.
The scheme includes up to 22,900 sq m of general industrial (B2) and storage (B8) space, alongside a further 2,712 sq m of light industrial space (E). The proposals also feature a café, gym, and indoor recreational facilities, reinforcing the site’s role as a key employment hub.
Beyond employment growth, the plans will see the relocation and enhancement of key community assets, including a new day centre for PACE and a modernised Dowty Sports and Social Club, delivering a fit-for-purpose facility for local users.
