Historic dwellings in rural Gloucestershire
Background
The site, which is located in an isolated position, forms part of a larger rural estate in the Cotswolds AONB.
The buildings, are of significant heritage importance, however were in a poor state of repair having been left vacant for some years. It is therefore paramount that a viable use is found for these buildings to ensure their repair and longevity. A programme of sympathetic restoration and repair works would assist in preserving historic and architectural interest for posterity.
In terms of the development of the buildings, the earliest fabric of of the buildings can be dated back to 1838/1839. A variety of extensions, comprising lean-tos and two storey ranges were added at later dates.
