Application submitted for expansion to Ashville Business Park, Staverton

The team at Morgan Elliot Planning, on behalf of Ashville Group, has submitted a planning application to Tewkesbury Borough Council to expand Ashville Business Park. The hybrid planning application marks a major transformation of the site, aimed at supporting employment growth, enhancing community facilities, and creating up to 1,000 jobs.
Highlights of the application include:
- 10,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility for Safran, a key employer in the area
- 22,900 sq m of general industrial (B2) and storage (B8) space, alongside 2,712 sq m of light industrial space (E)
- A café, gym, and indoor recreational facilities
- Support for the relocation and enhancement of key community assets, including a new day centre for PACE and a modernised Dowty Sports and Social Club, delivering a fit-for-purpose facility for local users
- Sustainable transport and connectivity with a mobility hub, pedestrian and cycle links
- Sustainable drainage and green infrastructure to ensure a future-proofed expansion
