Discharge of Conditions

Planning permission is rarely granted without planning conditions and it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the terms of all conditions are met in full.  Many of the conditions will be pre-commencement conditions which will need to be discharged prior to the commencement of development.  They also need to be discharged to ensure that the permission remains extant. Failure to discharge conditions can have serious consequences for the permitted scheme. 

The MEP team understands the legal requirement and, at times, complex situations surrounding the discharging of conditions.   We work closely with stakeholders and specialist consultants to navigate the requirements imposed by such conditions.
